When a golf club is swung on the correct plane it gives a golfer the very best chance of hitting shots that will go longer and straighter. With this in mind we at planestick had begun looking for a way to correct the swing plane.
Eliminating the "over-the-top" shot is what we have corrected.
Golf instructors refer to this as the "over-the-top" shot because the path of the club goes outside the desired plane line and across the target line through impact, instead of straight down it.
